Michael L. Cusack, MD.
attended Spalding High in Peoria Illinois and went on to Marquette University for Pre Med. Also the University
of Illinois Medical School. Dr. Cusack completed 3 years of Dermatology residency at University of Tennessee
Medical School. He then moved to Alaska in 1969 to pursue his career in Dermatology and start a family. He has
7 Children total (5 girls and 2 boys) ranging in ages from 16 to 48. He also has 9 grandchildren.
Dr. Cusack has been practicing dermatology in Alaska for 44 years, which gives him the skills and experience
that are needed for this type of specialty. Also being one of the first dermatologists in Alaska, he’s had the
advantage of building long lasting relationships with his patients as well as helping them get the treatment they
